Finger Monkey

The pygmy marmoset or “finger monkey” is the smallest monkey in the world.  Unlike most pygmies, the pygmy marmoset actually has its own genus.  Even fully grown they weigh less than a pound and are usually about 7 inches tall.  They are native to the rainforest canopies of western Braszil, southeastern Colombia, eastern Ecuador, eastern Peru, and northern Bolivia.  Finger monkeys are not endangered so they shouldn’t been too difficult to obtain. They are for sale online for only a few hundred dollars.  They are social animals and prefer to be in groups so we might want to get a few of them.
