Fennec Fox

The fennec fox, also known as the “big eared fox” is native to North African Sahara.  Fennec foxes dig out dens to live in that can be over 1,000 square feet. They are known to be social animals and are very playful.  They are the smallest foxes on earth, weighing no more than 4 pounds.  There large ears enable them to sense the slightest movement of prey underground, and make them adorable.  They are not endangered and therefore, should not be too hard to obtain, although from what I can they are not sold in the United States.
